Tai Hei Shakuhachi Japanese Bamboo Flutes

A complete resource for shakuhachi, the traditional Japanese bamboo flute. Included on this web site are beginner, student and professional-level instruments including jinashi flutes. Yung Flutes Perry Yung is a multi-talented artist, craftsman, and performer. In 2002, he was the first American to receive a Japan-US Friendship Grant to specifically study shakuhachi making in Japan.
